Paul McFadden is co-founder and Chief Operations Officer of Zero Point Leadership - a leading-edge science-based leadership learning and development organization. He is co-author of “Six Steps to Unlocking Extraordinary Leadership: The Neuroscience of High Performance Leadership”. He is also co-founder of NeuroLeader University™, an online learning academy dedicated to expanding leadership and organizational excellence through neuroscience-based learning and development focused on the core domains of performance, engagement, resilience and culture.
A seasoned executive and team coach, learning & development strategist, facilitator, trusted advisor, and former healthcare IT executive, with over 25 years of combined career experience, Paul has been exemplifying leadership excellence in the Public, Private, and Volunteer sectors.
As a coach, consultant and sought after strategic facilitator, Paul is recognized for his skillful approach to helping leaders and organizations build a culture of high performance and solve their most challenging problems through the integration of cutting-edge strategies and techniques grounded in science-based research with innovations in leadership development, coaching, and performance management. His fundamental philosophy is that building leadership capacity and adapting to change must happen from within.
He completed his coach specific training with the NeuroLeadership Institute and earned his Result Professional Coach Certification (RPCC) specializing in “Brain-Based” Executive and Team Coaching. Paul has also earned his Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credentials from the International Coach Federation (ICF) and has over 1250 hours of 1-on-1, team and group coaching experience. In addition, he is a certified SCARF®360 assessor, a HeartMath® Certified Trainer, a certified ITIL®v3 Expert, maintains an active project management PMP® certification, and has been trained in Black Belt Six Sigma Methodologies. He is also Adjunct Faculty with the Office of Personnel Management's Center for Leadership Development and the Federal Executive Institute, where he facilitates science-based leadership development programs to leaders (GS13 - SES) in the federal space both CONUS and OCONUS.
McFadden received his Bachelor of Science degree at the United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, NY, one of the (5) US Federal Service Academies and was honorably discharged from the US Navy Reserve/Merchant Marine Reserve in 1992 after (4) years of military service. In his free time, Paul enjoys being a mentor to youth and emerging leaders, volunteering his time to various Masonic as well as community activities, spending time with his family and is an avid motorcycle enthusiast.
